Maybe.
This is my life. In fact, I'm going straight to iTunes after this so I can buy Eye of the Tiger. I plan to play it when I write. It'll go something like this:
Me: I'm going to write!
*Eye of the Tiger plays in the background.*
Spider on wall: *looks unimpressed*
It would be a lot cooler if I had a camera person. Oh well.
Have you entered the Rename Twilight contest? Or if you're not a contest entering sort of person, have you at least read the entries and snarfed liquid out your nose? Because you should. Competition is fierce, but there's still plenty of time to enter. Like until Thursday, even.
I love the Big Bang Theory! I watched it faithfully the first season, and less faithfully since then, but still laugh at those guys!
ReplyDelete(and please kill the spider on the wall, or throw him out the door. even virtual spiders give me the creeps!)
that song should definitely play every time i start writing!!!
ReplyDeletenever watched that show but it looks entertaining
I don't watch much TV, but Big Bang Theory is TV done right.
ReplyDeleteNever saw the show but that clip was dang funny. I don't have any favorite funny TV shows right now. Sad, I know.
ReplyDeleteBut, Napoleon Dynomite and Juno are my two favorite laugh-inducers. Ever. I'm quite certain there isn't a better geek ever created than ND. Brilliant.
My husband has Eye of the Tiger on his iPod and listens to it religiously when he works out. It always cracks me up because he's 6'2 and 220 pounds. He doesn't run, he plods. It's hilarious to think of him listening to that song and getting pumped up.
ReplyDeleteHere's an intellectual challenge for you, Ms. Carrie: go back and watch your video, carefully copy down their equations, then come back and let us know if they're real, or if they're just nonsense designed to enhance the white-board prop.
ReplyDeleteOne of my coworkers watches Big Bang Theory religiously. Unfortunately, she also recounts each episode the next day in such detail that I feel like I've watched a bad version of the show.
ReplyDeleteEye of the Tiger! I need that playing right now!
I saw that episode on TV and I snarfed milk from my nose. No joke. It hurt, but it was so worth it. :)
ReplyDeleteOkay, I so need to see this show.
ReplyDeleteYou're the second person in 24 hours that has said they loved this show. I don't watch a lot of tv but maybe I should add it to my list. That clip was hilarious. Eye of the Tiger is one of my husband's favorite songs. He plays it at random times when trying to get the family "psyched up".
ReplyDeleteThat's how I feel when I'm doing math. Maybe if I stare at it long enough it will solve itself.
ReplyDeleteOMG, I. Love. That. Show.
ReplyDeleteI DVRed this episode last week just so I could watch this scene over and over and over. I laugh so hard every time, I think I actually fell off the couch from laughing the first time I watched it.
ReplyDeleteKill the big one and take his power! Or at least kill him ; )
ReplyDeleteI just watched that show for the first time tonight! It was funny!!
ReplyDeleteDid you just say snarfed the liquid out of your nose? That is way too visual for me. I'm on the verge of cracking up and dry heaving. It's like my body can't quite decide what to do with that. Okay, I'm laughing. :)
ReplyDeleteThis requires an OMG. Because OMG, YESSSSSS.
ReplyDeleteI would also like to mention that there's no need for me to download "Eye of the Tiger" because it's already on my iTunes! HA.
And I keep hearing about this show. It's a few years old, right? Has it just gotten extra-good lately?
It's freaking hilarious! And we love Eye of the Tiger here at our house.
ReplyDeleteyou, eye of the tiger and spider visual...I busted out laughing.
ReplyDeletethx
