Contests and Tapioca, But Not Tapioca Contests
My brain has turned into tapioca. Or maybe it's more accurate to say that it's tapioca-er than usual. Because it's usually a little tapioca-ish by default; know what I mean?
I just like to say 'tapioca.'
So it's about time to do another contest type thingy here at the Wonder That Is My Blog. And I need to ask you; do you like the bigger contests where you actually need to think in order to enter or do you prefer those leave-a-comment-and-win-something type jobbies? Despite the aforementioned pudding brain problem, I've been thinking about this and am pretty sure that I am in the former category: I've been making you all come up with silly titles and such in order to win prize packs of random snarfishness.
No, seriously. The last one contained a ninja devil duckie. And the first one had a Whack a Zombie in it. Really, what more is there in life?
The unfortunate reality of this is that random snarfishness can get quite expensive. (Although you might argue that snarfishness is priceless, kind of like those credit card commercials, and you would be right.) So I want to know, do you like these contests, or is it just too much freaking work to enter and who really wants a ninja devil duckie anyway? Or are you all freakshows like me and actually ENJOY the silly title contests? Because I am all about giving you what you want. Unless what you want is, like, gross. Or illegal. Or illegally gross. Grossly illegal, even.
In those cases, you're out of luck.
This seems strangely apropos.

Personally, I like the thinking contests. I've learned that even with my cultural challenges, I stand a better chance with skill contests than random luck contests. That isn't because I'm smart, it's because I've got crappy luck. So, please, bring on the silly titles!
Thinking contests are nice. I can use my braaaaiiins.
Ouch, just thinking about thinking makes my brain go numb, kind of like an ice cream headache.
verification word: duress
I'd like to use half of my vote for brainless contests, and the other half for the more challenging ones. Can I do that?
And:
Here's a motivator for writerly folks.
Contests make me anxious. I vote for thinking contests, because then I can avoid them if I want since I can't think.
Although you don't actually have to send prize packs out, you know. Just say, "You're a winner!" and let the winner feel all special.
Yes, I like the fun, thinking contest where the entries make me giggle!
I like random thinking contests. Is that allowed? Like, think of a great title and we'll pick the best one out of a hat. But you can't get IN the hat unless you've thought of a good title. So yeah, random thinking contests.
I think that "thinking" contests are fun. I love to see what people come up with. However, I must admit that I'm not as likely to enter one of those unless I'm able to come up w/ something great right away.
Thinking contest please!
Oh, I am ALL about the thinking contests! They're the only ones I ever win.
Plus, as Nayna was telling me just the other day, "I love the mimja duckie!"
Thiiiiiiiiiinking, tra la la!

I don't care what kind of contest it is as long as I have a chance at a crocheted supernatural creature and a ninja duckie.
Titles? Who can promote the awesomeness of merpires the most? Race through a vat of jello? Bring it.
Heh heh. Ninja duck.
ack, brain tired of thinking. will watch videos on youtube instead.
I like the thinking contests because they're more fun to read everyone's comments on. But at the same time I don't enter as many thinking contests because of the Tapioca brain thing that you mentioned earlier. My creativity is usually already spent by the time I get to reading blogs. :)
I like the thinking comments. C'mon, nothing could beat "The Scarlett Letter: The A is not for Awesome."
I AM TOTALLY EATING TAPIOCA PUDDING RIGHT NOW!!
Kozy Shack, because I like to keep it real.
Just so you know.
I like the thinkers...especially the funny ones!
I love the picture! I've never seen that one before. :o)
