I Feel So Freaking Kewl Now

OMG. I'm so thrilled that I've been reduced to using ridiculous abbreviations. My book. MY book is listed at Goodreads. And there are some people who are crazy enough to want to read it! I don't know most of these people, which actually makes it COOLER, because that means they aren't listing it because they're afraid I'll bite them if they don't express appropriate book-related appreciation... which of course I would do.

I'd like to meet them and kiss them. Except that it would probably freak them out, so maybe I'll just give them gifts. Like, um... brains. Or I gave Masonian the letter Z the other day, because he gave me a link to a zombie shirt. Sorry, people. You can no longer use Z without giving Masonian credit.

Anyone who lists No Pain, No Brain as a wishlist or to-read book on Goodreads can have a letter. You know you want one.

What's so great is that there aren't any Ninja's holding their sock drawers hostage or threatening to take pictures of their pets in elf costumes and post on the internet, unless they buy and read your book.

(We aren't scheduled to begin doing that until 3rd quarter next year)

I don't know anything about good reads. But I totally want to read your book and think it is awesome that you are listed on their site!

Congrats. (PS I am kinda fond of the letter S...can you set that one to the side for me?)

Well, you know I want your book, but I'm not on Goodreads...maybe I'll get on just so I proclaim to the world that I want to read you book really really bad.

Cool! I mean, kewl! That's not surprising. It sounds like an awesome book (naturally, considering the source). It's hard to keep awesome hidden for long. :)

KEWL!

And I just added, too! I had no idea it was up there...can't wait to get my hands on a copy! It sounds brilliant :)

Awesome! I'm going to go add it to my to-read shelf! :)

News like this definitely warrants a KEWL! Maybe another. KEWL!

I'm insanely excited for you.

Sweet! I've only been on good reads a few times, but you talked me into it. I'll have to check it out! =)

I love you. Every single one of you. And when I say love, I mean it in the non-sparkly-vampire-stalker kind of way.

Congrats Carrie - that's awesome!

Woo hoo! : )

Imagine how many people will have it on their 'to read' list just before publication if it's already gathering attention. Go Carrie!

This is another surreal moment in the whole publishing process. I'm excited in your behalf. :) And I want to read your book, btw, so can I have the letter 'K'??

And I was kind of hoping you loved me in the sparkly-stalker-vampire sort of way, but I guess I'll have to settle with the normal non-creepy love.

How AWESOME is that?!!!

Keri Mikulski said...

Yay!! Off to add it to my 'to reads'.. Can't wait!! :)

Darn, I earned no $ here. None of you commenters used the letter "z" (which I now own). I'll have to send my copyright lawyer trolls somewhere else...

I kid, i kid.

I am sooooooo on No Pain, No Brain when it comes out. But curses on you! I have to wait till 2001??!?!?! Have any of you developed a time machine, or a rudimentary space-time lathe to shave off a few months?

(verification word: POPAR. Sounds like the name of a Russian superhero's sidekick.)

That is cool! When is the book available?
