Geeking Out Star Wars Style

Happy Friday. 'Scuse me while I geek out.

I know the last one isn't Star Wars, but it made me laugh so hard.

Bwahah! As much as #1 made me laugh, it was the grammar-nazi one that tickled me. My friend (who is a copy editor) goes into conniptions over misplaced/misused apostrophes and other grammar foibles. http://www.wrtrgrl.com/sicworld/ I just wish I'd been able to take a photo of the time I saw a White Castle sign in Nashville that said "Go Titians". I nearly fainted right there in the car.

that first one is golden, although all of them are good.

They put a smile on my face!

The second one reminds me of a saying we had a track: "It's all fun and games until someone throws up. Then it's a track meet."

The droids one got me, although they're all awesome. I never really thought about that poor confused stormtrooper. I hope he's in therapy or something.

Like K.C., I'm feeling for the 'tropper. Hope he doesn't have any sleeping pills in the nightstand.

These are awesome! The force is strong with this one.
I love Darth Vader with the baby stroller!

Where did you find these??? The stormtrooper just pulls at the heartstrings!

Saw a bumper sticker that said, "Metaphors be with you."

Oh, UNCERTAINTY was the best!

Also, have I mentioned how much I love our current President?

Now I'm all happy and ready to start my day. Ahhh.

Ok, add 100 cool points to your name for this post!

Those were fabulous!!! I love the grammar nazi one. But I think my favorite is the Family Bonding with the Uncertainty pulling a close second.

I had several good chuckles thanks to you this morning. Thanks. (and my word verification is farto--I find this hilarious for some reason).

Great pics! Especially the last one. And Shelley, I've got to get one of those bumpber stickers.

The first one made me smile, but the last one made me snortle. I'm a major grammar-nazi. It drives the few friends I have crazy.

Masonian: I'm one of those grammar geeks too, but at least I can laugh at myself. And I wish you would have taken a photo of that too.

Jamie: Yeah, it reminds me of when we went to the Renn Faire and Slayer was dressed as a Templar while pushing the girls in a double stroller. People came up to take pictures of them too.

Mariah: Kind of like, "It's all fun and games until someone loses and eye, and then it's fun with one eye."

KC: Stormtrooper therapy. Now there's a short story waiting to happen.

Aaron: He probably sat there and ate a whole pint of ice cream out of the container.

Kelly: Ditto! May the stroller be with you!

Storyqueen: I troll the Internet looking for funny things to post, because I am too lazy to think them up on my own. There. I said it. ;)

Alan: HAH! That may be my new motto.

CKHB: There's only one problem with the Presidential saber. His form is off. My five-year-old would kick his butt.

I'm not kidding, either.

Natalie W: Happy to serve. ;)

Novice Writer: YAY! I've been saving my cool points. I want to redeem them for a car.

Natalie: Actually, I find farto pretty hilarious too.

Lazy Writer: I'd like that saying on a t-shirt! I'm all about the silly t's.

Cate: People don't stop to contemplate the plight of the trooper the way that they ought. I tell ya.

Nicole: We have that in common! I try to bite my tongue, but I think the look on my face gives it away.

LOL about the car.

BTW, here's a post that I think you'll like. It's from Cake Wrecks. If you don't already follow that blog, you should be.

Hey Ms. Harris. What up? I have one thing to say...

I went to school, in 8th grade, with Princess Leah buns. On purpose. And I was carrying my Empire Strikes Back metal Yoda pencil box after waking up on my ESB sheets and drinking from my ESB dixie cup and re-arranging my full set of miniature ESB figures.

How 'bout that?

I actually have a picture kissing Darth Vadar (my husband in costume for my nephew's b-day party). Does that make me a geek too? :)

Carrie, you can geek out any time with me. I love these!

This totally made my day! I need a poster-sized version of the 'Uncertainty" one. SO funny.
